No power at distributor.

It wouldn't start so I checked the spark and there was no spark. I checked power to coil and it was good. I checked and there was no power at distributor so I jumped power to the yellow/black wire on dizzy and it starts. Any ideas on why the distributor is not getting any power.

check the wire diagrams sticky at the top of this forum

also helps to know what year festiva and is it a US spec car

I was looking through the diagrams and it seems like none of the colors are the same.

it is a 93

distro only gets a 5V referance signal. it is just there for crank signal and ign control via the ECM.
