Testin for a cracked block???

Does anyone know if its possible to test for a cracked engine block while the head is off, but the engine is still in the car ('92 Festiva 5 spd)?

why do you think it has a cracked block? i don't think these cars make enough horsepower to crack there own block and they really don't get to hot.

ah, but they can freeze with the wrong dilution of coolant...

ever seen what ice can do to concrete? Iron is just as brittle, especially cold.

those are options as well. i just really wanted to understand why he thinks its cracked.
