Fuel injector cleaner.

I put some fuel injector cleaner in my gas on monday and since then, driving the festiva has been a little wierd feeling. This is the first time i have owned a standard but, when I go into first it takes a minute to catch and same with 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd but, 3rd to 4th to 5th are fine.

Anyone else get this?

Also, I have noticed that, in the morning when its cold. My fuel gauge and left turn blinker indicator light don't work. They eventually do after about an hour.

Now I'm not a mechanic so take this for what it is...novice comment. My 93 has 210k miles on it and I think when I used FI cleaner it was a first for the car. It took about 3 or 4 treatments before Hot Rod came around. Now in addition to that I also ran a higher grade gas for a couple of tanks. Now he runs very smooth using 87 octane.

sweet deal! i was just about to take apart my fuel system to clean em, but that sounds like a way better idea. meh, probly woulda been fun though... damn easy fixes!:hmph:
