Manual Trans Fluid? which type and why?

any thoughts on manual tranny fluid? replacing the clutch in the hazzard orange festiva and i gotta fill the tranny with something... i've always liked RedLine synthetic oil, but what grade/thickness? the shockproof lightweight in my daewoo roadster seems to be eating the synchro's.

MTFGlide is wonderful.

AMSOIL's Universal ATF is what I have. They just came out with some new MTF, but I haven't studied up on them. I think they're mainly for the GM/Chrysler folks.

yeah, good ol Jed had Amsoil in the tranny and the engine. i'm thinking about mobil 1 for the engine now that i have it tho... while we are on the topic of lubes =)

Mobil1 is a very nice motor. Better then what most people use.

For some odd reason my aspire burns it like there's no tomorrow though. No clue why.

With 223k miles on yours I'd recommend two or three treatments of www.auto-rx.com first to thoroughly clean your ring packs and seals.
