i put new brake shoes on and now i cant get the drum back on i do not see a way to adjust the shoes in need help

need a picture of what it looks like before trying to put the drum on. There are all kinds of reasons why it won't go back on.....let us see what you are seeing."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"

With the drum off...look for the little lever under the brake cylinder.
Pull the lever towards you off of the cog that it rest on.
Spin the cog to reduce the amount of exposed thread that the cog is connected to.
On of the cogs is right hand threads the othe is a eft hand thread.
Make sure the pads are centered on the back plate.
Put the drum on.
This is important..you may have to pull the drum off and now spin the cog out a little. Normally the brake shoes should make slight contact with the drum when installed.Joe Lutz

Festivas do not have a cog type of adjuster, they use a spring loaded lever type instead
