hey my festy has recently started to eat gas runnin on rich at all times whats the problem...

it has new o2 sensor, distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filters and tank, why is my car doing this. im also pickin up a map sensor tonight out of a spare festy. i have an 88 carbed festy L if that helps with the answer.

(the reason for the used map sensor rather then new is here it is special order and is $355.00 and thats more than i paid for the car)

My 89LX is doing the same thing so I'm getting a new carb, or rebuilding an old one. let me know if you figure it out.

Did you tighten the new distributor down?

Sounds like it might be time to rebuild the carb.

yea, i remember my dad's map sensor went bad on his 92 cheyenne and it acted like a plug on the hose and the truck just ran rich until we replaced it
