      mine was carbed too i used a 90 efi harness and i am having big probles nuthing works now. would a obd2 ecu cause nuthing to work? or raidator fan turn on when i turn on the lights?? ecu i have is pre 96 supsoe to be obd1

        No b6 should be obd2 anyway. What swap have you done, what motor? Is it motor no starting at all, no crank?

          ok i did the bp swap 94 1.8 doch motor
          no crank nuthing no lights in dash nuthing that concerns to the motor works at all

            I don't know if ob2 ecu's have 2 plugs. I think your 4 wire from the disty to the pin-out on the ecu is wrong, or somewhere in the steering coloumn. Hook a jumper on starter to the battery and see if it cranks.

            That will bypass the whole steering collumn. If it still doesn't start check your ecu, and disty wiring. Even if you don't have the VICS hooked up it will still run.

                  yes i did every thing but the dome light i aind usein the automatic seat belts i just taped them up.
                  ok i did the jump pack on the starter and it just pushes the gear out it dont turn over the motor it wont turn the gear and push it out so yeah the one i have sitin out wont eaither. it aint turning the motor over

                    Well I'd start with the 4th wire from the disty to the ecu, maybe you got the wrong pin.

                    Check the fuel lines to see if they are switched around, check for spark at the coil and the spark plug end.

                      i did the same exact thing but i dont have the bp. i dont understand how you can have all of these problems with the electrical!!???

                          well why would the 4th wire from the disty stop it from turning over wouldnt it just not start?
                          me neither i dont know what is wrong but im gona probly go to my dads friend and pull the harness from the one he has the he is scraping and swap it all again

                              all fuses are good. fusable links. batt has good voltage. ????
