i just had my head shaved... ive never had as much as a tick out of the engine before this and now it sounds terrible! the lifters are extremly loud!! how long should it take for the lifters to fully seat. and at what point should i get concerned!?

Sometimes when its real cold and I start my car in the morning the lifter will be very loud for 5min or so and boom quiet. Have you took the valve cover back off to look and see that none of the self adjusters were missing?Comment

no i havent checked the adjusters but all of the arms are shooting oil like crazy it shot oil on my windsheild! are the adjusters in the valve side of the rockers??
