  • where are the horns mounted

I had a horn fault and ended up buying a new horn and tapping into the horn feed at the relay, I still am interested because I had a good look and they don't show up my Gregories manual. and yes I blew a few fuses diagnosing the fault

    thanks all :p:p:p:p

The horn is mounted inside a cavity near the passenger side front corner. It's hidden. I don't know if you have to remove the bumper cover but I suspect that would make it easier.

Check out some pics from the Festiva Madness 2 meet in Raleigh, NC. There was a parts car there at the meet and once everyone took parts off of it, then you could see the horn.

It can be removed without removing the bumper. I did it two weeks ago.

An LX or GL will have dual horns, one on each side.

PF inside the bumber no need to remove anything to get to it... put a larger mazda b3000 horn in mine now you can be afraid... or move the heck outta the way.

They are prone to rust where they are installed at the factory. I pulled the wire back into the engine compartment and mounted a louder horn in one of the unsued threaded holes on the fender.

Would that be the same on a RHD Festiva?

I don't mean to argue, but are you sure the GL's had dual horns? My 91 GL is single. (Unless the drivers side was removed by somebody previous to me)
Can anybody else with a GL confirm this??
the 91-93 in this chart has ???????? listed.

i'd think RHD would be the same as LHD.
