1992 spun out now wont stay running

I was driving in the rain and I hydroplaned and spun out now the car will start but only run for a short time. do any of you have any ideas where to start?

Make sure the intake pipe on correctly and has no leaks, mine fell off and would die as soon as I backed out of the driveway.

Have you checked the inertia switch in the drivers side hatch area? If it has activated you will need to remove the small square piece of trim plastic that covers it and simply push the button that lives underneath that little square back in.
