Go inside the cab, remove the plastic behind the steering wheel, remove and loosen the bolts that hold the column to the dash as needed. At the bottom of the column, remove the bolt that pinches onto the swivel. Remove rack. Replacing the rack is tricky, getting it through the rubber boot in the engine compartment, but it will go, while getting the splined end through the hole in the floor board. Steering can only go on one way onto the splines. Replace pinch clamp bolt. Tighten column to dash. Replace plastic.

I'd like to kow where you get it rebuilt, how you get it rebuilt, and how much to get it rebuilt. Rebuilt ones can be found on eBay but they are expensive when you include the shipping of your core back to them to get your core charge return.

I have found 2 places in Houston Tx that rebuild them for $150.00. I live just south of Houston and would only take about 45 mins to get there.
