Rattling/Vibrating noise

Hey guys,

Just bought a 1999 Ford Festiva Trio - only clocked about 50,000 kms. Everything seems to be fine except one small thing..
Whenever I'm accelerating, there is a vibrating/rattling noise coming from somewhere within the dashboard. It only lasts a few seconds.

Does anyone have an idea of what it is? Is it easy to fix? Could it be serious?

Speedometer cable? Anyting strange about the speed indicator as you accelerate?

I would check any heat sheilds in the exhaust system. I know they're not up in the dash but you never know. The shieds on my car were rattling and I thought it was the alternator going bad.

Nothing too strange.. it wobbles a tiny bit when i accelerate but thats about it.

Where bouts exactly are the heat shields located?

Sorry, dont know a great deal about cars at the moment (this is my first car) - hoping to learb more though!
