how to check the oxygen sensor

Hi

I have a 1995 Kia Pride & I was reading on the net how to check the oxygen sensor. It has one wire on it. But my readings on the volt meter were in reverse polarity. Ex: between -0.01 & -0.30v is this a normal reading.

The negatives are not normal, perhaps you have your leads switched on your meter.

I figured it out... When I touch the earth with my finger while holding the wire it will read normally. I think it's working fine.
