  • Aspire to Festiva - complete list

Sorry if this has been done before. My Aspire has finally took its last crap (partly my fault for not checking the tranny fluid sooner), but now its time for all those good parts to enter my Festiva. The aspire has new clutch and suspension (struts, fms springs, balls joints, sway bar, tie rods). Can all of these parts be transferred to the festiva? Also the engine in the aspire is better than the festy.

To sum it up, I have these parts from my aspire that I would like to use to fix the festiva, please let me know if there are any issues with using these parts: clutch, fms springs, autozone shocks (same part number for festy and aspire), ball joints and tie rods, sway bar (front and rear), and motor.

Thanks everyone, I hope to see you guys soon with the fixed festy.

The engine is the same except the aspire has a more restrictive manifold. So it should make less power. I'm not positive on that though. Don't know about the rest.

don't use the aspire LCA's on the festiva, they are different

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

The brakes. Best part of an aspire to use on a Festy. The transmission will work too (you'll need the front mount off of the Aspire).

The Aspire trans has more gear, so you'll be shifting a lot if you use Festiva-sized tires (ask me how I know).
