  • Shaking tire! Help!!

    MY FRONT RIGHT TIRE SEEMS TO HAVE ALOT OF PLAY IN IT OR SOMETHING,AND KEEPS WEARING OUT MY TIRES FAST!! I CHANGED CV JOINT,TIE ROD ENDS.DONT NO WHAT ELSE TO CHECK, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    Suggestions:
    Lower control arm/ball joint
    Wheel bearings
    Hit the Cap Key Lock to disengage it!
    '93 Blue 5spd 230K(down for clutch and overall maintanence)

      Where on the tire is the wear, centre, right side, left side, pockets? Wear on one side would be alignment, centre would be improper inflation. I forget what causes pockets. I'd search the Internet on "tire wear". It's covered in intoductory auto mechanics texts as well.

        Wear on inside likely lower control arm or bearings.
        Had bad wear on inside of both tires bad bearing and lower control arms.
        Still needed alignment after replaced parts, but problem solved.

              also check to see that your lug bolts aren't loosening while you drive.
