90 model no start.

Any help appreciated, all the ones I have had were 88 carb models. I got an 90, it won't start unless you spray starter fluid into the throttle body then will run for a little bit. Any suggestions on what to look for first, inertia switch is ok?maybe fuel pump? can't find a shop manual anywhere.

Is the intake tube off? If your spraying starting fluid into the throttle body I would assume the tube is disconected. It MUST be hooked up to run. It needs the air flow signal from the ari box.
