Second, they all have old gas and , of course, won't stay running.any ideas other than adding a LOT of new gas ?
Third,I have a PERFECT body and no title ...any ideas ?
Next,I have to take pulleys off the bottom half.Could not budge bolt .
Also, what is the easiest way to remove rear spindles,e-brake cable.
As for a/c,what all would I need to include to remove a COMPLETE a/c system ??
Sorry but there isnt a quick easy way to do this stuff. You are going to have to spend a lot of time and energy removing this stuff. Start spraying penetrating oil on every nut bolt etc now and do it often while you are removing stuff. The parts/systems will be more valuable if you gently remove them and save all the hardware even the small seemingly little unimportant pieces. Its a pain trying to find similar replacements and really slows down the reinstalling process. You could spend a week disassembling a single festiva. You will need an impact wrench to remove some of the stuff. Some bolts will break and some things wont come loose so be prepared to saw, torch, and beat on some things. The lower strut bolts come to mind . You will need to remove them to get to the rear spindle nuts. You have to remove the nuts from the back of the spindle the are pressed into the spindle so dont try unbolting them from the brake side. I could go on but wont just expect a time consuming job. I hope you do take your time and save a lot of stuff and make your money back plus a lot more for all the hard work it will take. Ive stripped a couple down to nothing. I sold over $800 worth of parts besides the part I kept off of one festiva I bought for $150 so I know there is money to be made. I stripping one right now as a matter of fact.Last edited by freshtiva; 07-10-2009, 07:21 PM.sigpic
