Auto Tranny prob

Hey guys,

My 89 Auto tranny seems to be giving up. The shifting from 1st gear to 2nd is the problem.
Almost 2 weeks back, i was driving and head some grinding noise when shifting from 1 to 2. Also, it started to jerk like hell when shifting...

So i went ahead topped up the tranny oil thinking it might make a difference, but it really did not. I am thinking of flushing the oil and then changing the filter, don't know if that will help in any way??!!

The worst thing is I only have 125,615 Kms on mine... lots of life left but the car has started to break apart...

Any tips... what i can do?
Anyone here in Calgary that would be willing to give me a hand with this.. your help will be very very much appreciated.

it wouldn't hurt to change the filter and flush the system, but like you said it may not help, but then again it may. make sure your 2 lines from the tranny to the radiator are not leaking and secured good.

if all else fails-----> 5spd manual swap time!
