Aspire hard steering

I have a 1996 Aspire, automatic. Steering is very hard. Any suggestions? Thanks.

did this happen suddenly???
is there any noise up front when turning?
is the car stationary or moving?

I just bought the car, so I don't know when it started. No noise when turning. Both stationary and moving; harder when stationary. Thanks.

1. drive alot
2. get used to hard steering, we all have it.
3. start a gym with your new muscles, that you got from driving alot.
4. check your tire pressures/tread. old tires are harder to turn.
5. keep posting.
