    The drip continues guys. I believe the crankshaft seal is leak but therer is oil and or tranny fluid comingoff the tranny. Any ideas... ur my life line for my car guys cant stress the love for the festy.

    Spray it down with brake cleaner even toward the top around by the distributor. Let it dry completely and DO NOT try to start the engine until it's completely dry. Start the engine and look for fresh fluid. May just be a bad distributor seal that's leaking. Good luck.

      +1. Also, pull your disty cap and check for oil inside. If your disty seal is leaking, a little bit will end up in there. But then the car would likely run like crap. Clean it up, like he said, and see if you can tell where the oil's coming from. The fact that it's ending up on the tranny may not mean anything.
