  • getting dings out?

i was searching around on the forums and haven't been able to find anything about my question ... how do i get dings out of my car? any tools to use? or do i have to take the part apart and bang it out? i am not talking very big ones ... just a few small dings that don't go very far in ... thanks in advance

well i use to do paintl ess dent repair, which is pretty much the art of taking dent out with out having to crack the paint. PDR is the easiest way but its a real art/ craft so you would probably have to pay someone. you could look up the dry ice method im not sure if it work or not or bondo is your friend!

It's what is used to clean computers; comes in a can. Try Office Depot, Wal-Mart, etc.

Bondo....is a shop term for "plastic" body filler......though it is really not plastic. Bondo is also a brand of body filler. Not a real good choice to use either. I like rage gold myself, and if you shop around at wholesale auto paint stores you should be able to picksoup for around 30 bucks for a gallon.

And when it comes to small dents, I am affraid you'll have to do body work or PDR.
