I normally have a orange lettered cluster in 91 and works good, anyways I think it does. I'm testing out a white letter tach cluster for a few days, and on that cluster the temperature gauge started out fine but it seems to read higher than the other. It was a little over half and on the other it seems to be a little under when fully warmed up. But the fan didn't kick on or didn't seem hot. Also the tach seems to read about 100 rpm faster. So I wonder which is correct. I'm going to run it a few more days and switch back.

keep in mind, these "instrument clusters" dont have a single instrument in them. Instruments are PRECISION measuring devices. The best these can do is give us a rough idea as to the vehicles conditions. Basically, if both temp gages are near the middle when warm, and the RPM is within about 500rpm of actual, you're doing good.Jim DeAngelis
