Warm start problem

I have noticed that Casper (Festy w/Escort GT 1.8 DOHC) does not want to start when the motor is warm. He needs about 20 minutes or so to cool off, then starts fine. Anything less than 20 minutes, like 10 or so, and it will start with some rapid pumping of the gas. Other than this issue, he runs fine. Reeeeal fine! :-)

I don't know enough about fuel systems to diagnose this. Any ideas?

Try holding the gas pedal to the floor when it's hot and won't start. That cuts the fuel to the motor off. Or is supposed to at WOT. If that's the case then it may have a leaky injector, and making it vapor lock. Just a thought. You can always give me a call and give me more details. Always glad to help you Tom.
