Listen, its easy. I had never worked on a front wheel drive car and when my son in law gave me my first festiva which was four years ago, i had to change the cv shafts the first thing. If you can walk and chew gum at the same time, you can change the cv shafts. Listen to what the guys have said and you will be ok. If you cant walk and chew gum at the same time, then you better get someone to do it for you.

if you do it....do not over do it by removing to much stuff. You only have to take out the pinch bolt and pop the LCA out with a pry bar...and then take the nut off the outer tie rod end and then pop it out.....take the nut off the CV shaft and you can get it all apart from there without any problem. I would come do it for you if I was closer.....easy job."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"

The only thing I would add to that is whatever nuts/bolts you are going to remove, hit them hard with WD-40 or PB Blaster. Especially if the underside of your car is rusty.
