Could a bad PCV valve cause too much pressure and excessive blow-by past the rings?

          no

but a bad PCV can blow out your seals and gaskets that hold your oil inside the engine

I wasn't expecting too much in 2 1/2 hrs, but,I have had quick responses a lot of the times.Thats all.
Anyway,I do appreciate the responses I have received.I have a low mileage to put in,but,I wouldn't prefer to do it.It is my moms festy and I just want it good.it has to drive 100 miles to Florida.

Just check as a long shot that you are using the correct spark plugs, you should be able to us a slightly hotter spark plug and this could be because you are doing a lot of short trips, a cooler plug is better if you do a lot of long trips, get proper advice if you decide on this option
