Drivers side, underhood, behind headlight. You can get one for a 91 - 96 Escort its the same thing except for little tab that needs to be broke of for it to fit correctly.

monsoon is correct, it's behind the driver headlamp. i just messed with one on chills car at FM3. check to make sure you don't have a constant ground signal to the relay (the column switch is a ground side switch), if so, you've rubbed through on the main harness behind the driver fender and have a short to ground causing the lamps to be on all the time.

No location so we assume in USA.
In US '92 Festiva GL = EFI = Airbox.
Unless it was swapped for a carbie or you are not in the US.
Please add details, better yet add a location to your profile.

              hmm

found rely behind the passenger headlight, it was for the cooling fan I couldnt find a rely for the lights except the main one for the headlights, the park lights remained on when I unplugged the main relay.
found a blue wire under the dash that turned them off but it also turned the dash, stereo, and heater off as well, any ideas out there? Thanks we are in New Zealand and it has a carburettor

Yeah, but you can always disconnect a fuse or the battery itself.

If you can't turn them on, you are a road hazard and could get a ticket.

fng,= ford no go wont be going no where if the battery goes flat lol so technically car in garage wont be a road hazard much lol. yea but I know what you mean we have been taking the fuse in and out when need be, would rather just fix the situation and keep the wife happy

you might need to instill the help of FestyMic (Aus) as he may be able to help with the differance in wiring between the silly american and Kiwi versions.
