blower motor

i took my blower motor out and i need to test it. can i jump wires to the battery to do this :wink:

Yes.

But put a fuse between the positive wire to the motor and thr battery so that there aren't any nasty accidents if the motor is bad...

ok so i tried to test the blower motor and got no response but i dont know if i did it right cause i got no sparks no nothing.anyways i bought an after market blower for fifty bucks. the mounting flange was the same but the motor was bigger in size and it didnt come with factory wire assembly just two crimp leads. i cut the old leads off and crimped them to the new motor and installed it cursing the whole time,just because i could.turned the key,turned the fan switch on with my eyes closed and new found religion.hallelujia,the festiva will drive another day.thanks for the advice! :wink:
