I went the cheap route when I replaced the HLAs. I found a wrecked 323 in the junkyard which looked like it had regular oil changes and grabbed its HLAs. All of them were stiff and worked well when I stuck them in the Festiva. So far no issues. Total cost was $12 - $2 admission to the yard, and another $10 for TB and valve cover gaskets.

Zip ties (to hold things in place), Channelocks, and torque wrenches are your friends when doing this job.

Took me maybe 2 hours, and that was my first time doing it.

        Good luck.
