found the relay!! It is definately bad. The switch That I bought will not work though. Seems that one of the plugs on the new switch has four wires and mine has three. I am told this switch is for a car with daytime driving lights as well as cruise control & delay wipers. I am going to try to return it and get my money back because the add said that it works on 88-93 festivas. After replacing the relay and putting my old switch back on, my lights work perfectly. Thanks again for all of the excellent advice.
