something came loose it dies when i press the gas. im putting an aftermarket air filterto since my filter box is smashed and cant find a new one. any help when i get this part so i dont screw it up again????

yes it must, if not, it will give you a CEL relating to the o2 sensor, which is actually not a problem witht he o2 sensor, but it the fact that the o2 is not reading what the computer predicts due to an inaccuate VAF reading

didn't work for me, It gave me a high idle and a random CEL relating to the o2 sensor

keep us posted, i'm planning on re-vamping the CAI idea but i figured i was gonna have to change the design where i was having VAF issues due to side mounting it, hears my design (that, as i said, didn't work)
