  • Aspire Auto Transmission.

I have a 95 aspire and sometimes when I put it in drive, it takes a little bit to get going. 20 seconds or so to act normal. It only does it after it has not been driven for a day or two. After it starts going everything is great until it sits again. Are there any check valves that are suppose to keep the TC pressurized? Could one of those not be doing it job. Anybody got a diagram of an auto and the parts that can be replaced when the pan is dropped.

    Thanks,
    Eric

You might be right on your thoughts with what's wrong with the car... but I have to ask... Did you make sure the fluid level was good in the transmission? When was the last time the fluid was changed? I wonder if the the transmission filter is clogged...

Fluid level looks good. It looks clean also. I am dropping the pan to change the filter soon and I am looking for ideas on what to look for. Hopefully a new filter will fix the problem.
