PB blaster is good stuff. So is patience.

you guys ever hear of mixing 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone as a penetrant? I made some and used it a few times. Don't know if it is any better than PB blaster though. Another forum I am on had a link to some tests and supposedly it works better than anything else.

Never heard of it myself, but bet it would work OK given what is clearly lacking here, some patience, to let any decent penetrating oil work.

Patience is key. It took me 8 days to get the drivers lower control arm off when the frame side pinch bolt seized in the arm. I tried so many different ways till finally one worked.

            Beer helped.

Here is the link for the extraction socket set.

And here is what I removed from the first cylinder. This was after attempting to pound on a smaller socket, JB weld, and beat the crap out of the plug.

              Good Luck!

The last post I wrote was in correlation to post # 21. I also tried the Gator Grip and it didn't work.

Never used PB Blaster but have had great success with Release-All which I picked up at Canadian Tire. Had the same issue, stuck plug, and the Release-All did the trick... applied it four or five times over a couple of days and the plug came out clean.

Festiva was getting major tune up and when removing the spark plugs there where old and rusted badly

He was able to remove 2 of them but the other where rusted so bad that there wernet any tread on them....

He tried and tried to remove them..... never could

so how do I get those plugs out to replace them.... its runs good but has 2 old plugs from forever and 2 new ones

                              Read your post.

You have put a lot on money into this car and sounds like you want everything just right.

Except for the two plugs you can't remove right now, is the car running good?

You have not broken off the plugs that are still in there?

Since you have sprayed PB Blaster on there, let it soak for several days. Drive the car.
The plug should let go once it has been hot and the PB blaster has got all down in the treads.

Once it cools a little. Spray some more into the thread area.

Get the car hot again several times over a few days.

Done this with cars over the years.

It will work if you just keep spraying a little where needed.
