Windshield Wipers

:cry: Has anyone had this problem? Wiper blades only seem to last about 4 weeks, then they lose their effectiveness. Been this way since the "Mighty Festevius" was new.( 1990). Also is it common for the wipers to lift off the windshield over 65 mph.????

Depending on where you get the blades...they usually will give you at least a 90 warranty...Autozone does. Walmart has blades that give a certain warranty on them....of course they do not last that long so you take them back and swap them out. As for the lifting...I believe all Festy's experience this problem....there are a couple of somewhat solutions. They make a spring like hold down that help to keep the wipers on the windshield at higher speeds. They also make snap on air foils that put downward pressure on the arms as you drive....both work well...I currently have the spring type on my car and they help a lot.
