        You "just ask" a lot of questions that are easily answered by spending a few minutes with a manual you have clearly decided you don't need.

            Tranny fluid is checked with the engine running. Drive the car until the engine has warmed up, put it in Park (do not switch the engine off!!), pop the hood, and take a look at the dipstick.

            I'll take a look at my car tomorrow and tell you where the vacuum line is located.

                The hose for the vacuum modulator is fairly large, and goes from the back right side of the intake to a port on the transmission near the distributor.

                It should be fairly obvious which hose it is.
