Not sure if this goes here cause it's not a festy, but it is repair related. My brother-in-law has a 1994 Toyota 1/2 ton that won't start. He called me up a week ago (it was raining outside) saying it wouldn't start. I went over the next day(it was sunny out) to help him out and it fired right up. So now today he called me up saying it wouldn't start. It was cloudy out but it hadn't rained. So I got over there and it wouldn't start. I checked the spark to plugs and its got spark, but now I'm flustered. It kind of seems like it won't start when its moist outside but then again it could be a coincidence, so I'm just wondering where you guys might start looking.

I second, or third, or whatever the notion of cap, button, and wires. You had spark when it wouldn't start. On all cylinders? Strong spark, or just enough to know you had it? Change these, and see how it does the next time it rains. Betting your problem will be solved.

It doesn't have a distributor cap. I has coil on plug style wires. All cylinders on the passenger side have a coil on them. Then each one has a wire that runs over to the drivers side. When you buy a set of wires, it only comes with half as many as you have cylinders. Make sure to replace these one at a time. They do NOT go to the corresponding plug on the other side. I suggest using NGK, plugs too. Also look at all the grounds. Just my .02$-Greg
