I would imagine that parts store would have to order.

Strange but true, I came across a write up on repairing these...article dealt with having tried to pull the plug out the wrong way ... you need to re-set a spring just right and it will be good to go.

I think the article was for Mazda 323 which are the same. I did not save the link. If you find it, post it up for future reference.

ya thought it was high, but that is the only junkyard that has a couple festivas.

btw it didnt work, it idles, then dies, and if you give it gas it bogges down and dies.

so now its orielly for $100 with $35 core, life sucks

Did you go to LKQ? Those guys really gouge you on prices.....

Up here though the junkyards are really cheap, and have a huge variety of old cars.

Perhaps someone here has a known-good one they could send you for cheap?

                it was a1 down shepard

I really would like to find some at a pick a part place but so far no luck, if i get a day off work i want to just go through every junkyard in that area. Bad part is sunday is the only day i usually have off and most of them are closed.

Just went to advanced auto and got one for $70 though, going to return my junkyard one. If they dont want to take they can fight it out with my credit card company.

Salvage yards hate Credit Cards. That's money they gotta put on the books & pay taxes on. With that and their processing fee, they probably charged you more $ as a "penalty!"

ya, well he gave me a price before i told him how i was going to pay.

I like paying with it because they always rule in my favor if there is a problem.
