  • HELP! buzzer wont shut off

any1 know what may cause the buzzer to stay on even tho my car is off key out and door shut it goes from the high pitch to a dull buzz when i shut it off and also when i am driving it will randomly come on but no lights will pop on. my seatbelts are connected but the lil switches that are on the corners of the doors have been removed could that be the problem

The buzzer is under the dash on the driver side, if you look up there there should be a little box that says buzzer on it and it can be unpluged easily.

I had a problem similar to this. The rubber that covers the switch in the door was missing and the door didn't close tight enough to push the switch in. Just a guess.

i hear that switch gets shorted often, if memory serves (usually has a mind of its own...)
it has something to do with a wire getting chafed under the rear seat... its attached to the hazard fuse...
