are you buying cheap bulbs? do you have a crack in the headlight housing? loose wires?

When installing the headlight bulbs do not touch the bulb glass.
Use a clean cloth to set the bulbs in the holders, before inserting them into the headlight itself.

Give us some details as to how many times this has happened.
        Under what conditions.
How long do the bulbs last before "blowing"?
        Both bulbs or only one.
        etc
        etc
        etc

The more we know about the problem the better we can help.

Alternator putting out too much voltage? Under 15volts, ok. If you are blowing both headlights suggests the bulbs are "dirty". Do not touch the bulb glass.

Also make sure your headlights don't hold any water in them when it rains. I had this happen before.
