Installing lifters;need help!

Hi its me again, with yet another issue. I have a new case of lifters for my 92 festys engine and i haave no idea how to install them. The engine is making a tapping noise that speeds when i give it gas etc, which is one of the lifters sticking. So I am trying to replace that lifter with a new one but i need a little help on how to locate which one is the problem lifter and how to install this. Is this something I am capable of, some one with moderate knowledge of cars but can adapt and figure mechanical problems out with help..please let me know because i dont want to waste another 300 bucks on a mechanic, which is what i did for the alternator (although the car is running excellent now with the new alternator, minus the lifters and a few things )
