If you go to AutoZone's website and create a user account you can add your car to your profile and then click on the repair info link and it will give you repair guides and specifications for your car. It's a free service they provide in a partnership with ALLdata with no copyright infringement. They also have pages from the manual available for printing.
Here's a few examples I found for my 93:
Head BoltTorque sequence: - front | 8 4 1 5 9 | of | | engine | 7 3 2 6 10 | - Step 1: Torque from 35 to 40 Ft/Lbs Step 2: Torque from 56 to 60 Ft/Lbs
Main Bearing Cap Bolts: - 40-43 Foot pounds (Final torque)
Edit: They don't currently have any of the repair guide pages on their site but they have TONS of specifications listed.
You need to add your location to your profile. May be someon nearby who might be willing to lend a hand. Also Im positive this has been posted before so...
Here you go.

Ring gap position is not too important in my opinion since the rings are designed to be able to rotate in the groove during engine operation. If it makes you feel better you can put them at 0, 120 and 240. What's really important is ring gap. Ask your sis to get a manual, it would be a good investment.
