If you're talking about the two hollow pins that locate the head, I'd use two. It left the factory that way for a reason. I'd keep it that way but you might get by with one.Originally posted by geno View PostComment

They should both be on the block... rear left, front right iirc. If one is stuck in the head it needs to be removed and put back in the block.~Nate

I did the same thing when I changed my head gasket. The locater ring got pushed way up inside the head and I searched the garage for 2 days trying to find it.Originally posted by geno View PostBrian
