Is there anything special I need to know when installing manual seatbelts into a 90 Festiva? Is it as simple as taking the B pillar panel and side wall panels off and bolting it in the 3 places?

If you want it to look right you need to swap the headliner as well.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

Really? I read in some posting on here that it may not look that bad...granted no pictures were supplied. Can't I possibly drill a hole in my existing cover or is the existing b pilar too "thick" for this to be done...or could I perhaps get a longer bolt?

I did that search before I posted and maybe I am overlooking or too lazy to scroll through to the very last page of the threads, but I am not seeing anything specific except the headliner issue & something about the top retractor bolt vs using your rear speaker mounts. I am only swapping the front belts and I don't mind if the track stays there as long as I can figure out how to get rid of the seat belt clip that is in the track and if I am really lucky figure out how to disarm the seat belt light once the manual belts are in.Last edited by xlence; 01-08-2010, 03:21 PM.
