Stupid braided hose covers

my gf got these braided hose covers for her truck because she likes them.
the thing is she can't get them to go over the hoses they are like the Chinese finger traps and just tighten right up when you try to pull or any thing. so i am asking if any one has used them and how they got them one the hoses.

Because I'm a tard, I thought about getting a set of those for my festy. Because I'm lazy, I haven't done it yet.:p

Unfortunately, I think you're just in for a slow, tedious process to get them on. Bit by bit, mm by mm.

yeah i thought it was a stupid idea i don't like them they ugly. thats what i thought little by little.

Maybe push the ends toward each other and then slide it over.---><--- Like that, so it makes the hose fatter in the middle just like the chinese finger trap.
