Does the B3 engine have piston oil squirters?Is there a product to clean piston rings

Hi

Does the B3 engine have piston oil squirters? I want to clean the piston rings without opening the engine. Is there a product that I can put inside the pistons and let it sit and clean the pistons and rings? Can I use acetone or diesel? I know about Seafoam but where I live, here does not import it. I asked for squirter because, if it has the rings shall be clean automatically by oil or some additive I can add to the oil.

Not to thread jack, I'm just ignorant on the engines.
What is a B3? Or BT? or some of the other engine names I've seen on here.
Could an expert create a sticky thread that lists and describes the different engines that came in the cars and the common ones people install in them?

back to the original question at hand... put some seafoam in the intake to clean piston/rings, or in the fuel tank to clean injectors.
what you do is have the car running.. pull a vacuum line on the intake manifold and put it in the can of seafoam.. then it'll suck it in.. then turn the car off for 15-25 minutes to let is soak... then start up (very smokey) but it'll go away after 15 minutes of the engine running.. the smoke looks terrible, but this works wonders..

we don't have sea foam where I live. I think I will use kerosene instead.

Malta is a group of islands used as a stepping stone in Europe for whoever was conquering everyone else at the time. They speak English better than I do lol.

There are other products in the USA that are used the same way as seafoam. If i remember correctly both GM and Mopar(chrysler) have a product dealers use to do this kind of operation. Maybe your location has access to those two products. I don't know how the laws are shipping potentially explosive cans of things. As there is solvent in there i know when a seafoam can has been sitting in the sun or somewhere warm there is a lot of pressure inside that builds. You might have better luck finding a source in England or France maybe. If seafoam is available there you might get it from them before having to pay tax and customs if your country charges for all those things. Seafoam in the intake will clean the top end however not the rings. To do any type of ring cleaning you have to have something circulating in the engine oil. I don't know about all engines but the squirters i have seen only squirt on the inside area or lowest part of the piston, not so much onto the rings or along the cylinder wall where there would be extra exposure to any cleaner present in the oil. You can do a leakdown test to see if all the pistons are about the same percentage. You can also remove each spark plug and squirt down some solvent in hope to loosen up material that is there but its not thorough either. Some people drain the oil, fill the crankcase with 4L of diesel/kerosene and let it sit. then they crank the engine with no coil hooked up a few revolutions and let it sit another hour then drain the diesel. Then they put in inexpensive oil (maybe even the drained oil if its rather new) and run it a short time, then fill with a quality oil.

I had a very neglected engine in my 1995 and was going to do the 4L of diesel next, but sold the car. There is also a product that is not harsh chemicals that cleans using esters called auto-rx. It works but works over many miles and is more expensive.

In the Mediterranean sea between Italy and Egypt.
Nice place, weathers great, but a bit on the hot dry side, which is better than the cold wet side!
More like Arizona or Southern California.
But everything has to be imported, so is expensive.

Might want to use a mixture of Isopropanol (primary ingedient of Seafoam) and Biodiesel (long chain esters).
