I haven't ever seen the pins identified by a number in the manual or EVTM, but it is the yellow with green tracer wire.

OK, yellow/green wire. Got it. I'll see what position that corresponds to on the black plug. That diagram (in post 6 of the thread) is not completely accurate tho; I am currently looking at the back of both a white and an orange tach cluster, and the pins are not exactly as they describe it.Originally posted by wybnrml View Post

I was confused by the EVTM as to the pin positions for the longest time, even with both diagrams for Orange and White face types. They are the same for both, and can be swapped with no modification of harness. This includes std vs tach types. Only differences that I have run into were ABSOLUTE base models 1988&9 that did not have wiring for options included on the harness. For them *only* will you need to add wiring for the tach, power mirrors, rear wiper etc.Have owned 9 so far
