Multi-function switch swap?

Will the multi-function setup from a 90-93 plug and play with an 89 Carbed car? Is the intermittent function completely housed in the multi-function switch? Will this also work just by plugging it in?

I can tell you a 88 will not work on a 91. I think it depends on when your car was made in 89. Is it a carbed or FI? If it's a FI you have a strong possiblity that it wll. The only difference is in the light side of the switch, you can take the intermittent module off though and put it on your current one.
