I sent a guy a dr rear spindle.He said it is a different size than the one he already had.Were there differences in different years ? I thought 88-93 were all the same .

As far as I know they are all the same. I have used one off of a 89 on a 92 and it worked.IF you never succed at what you are trying to do then maybe failur is your style -
No, spindles are all the same except:
Driver side is right hand thread and passenger side is left hand thread

Is he basing that on a side by side comparison? I'm pretty sure they are all the same. Wondering if he got bearings, as in the wrong bearings (happened while trying to get gestiva's car back on the road). No idea what those bearings were for, but they would not go on the spindle. As far as I know all the same, even the aspire uses the same bearings IIRC

Fastenal can not source the crush nuts
You would have to drill your spindle or obtain later model spindles with the slot for the pin.
Remember there are two types of Cotter set-ups the true castleated nut and cotter and the cotter cage: consisting of a regulat nut, castleated cage that fits over the nut, and the cotter
