  • My b3 engine have been smoking blow-by and having oil in the air intake pipe

My b3 engine have been smoking blow-by and having oil in the air intake pipe. I cleaned the intake pipe and routed a new hose pipe to an oil catch can. But when I remove the oil cap it is blowing lots of blow-by. Is there an additive that works that can cleans the piston rings. Does the STP Smoke Treatment works? Has anyone used it and worked?

I just found out that the oil ring of cylinder 4 only that is the problem. I filled all 4 cylinders of kerosene and diesel to clean the pistons and see which one is leaking. It showed clearly that it is cylinder 4 that is leaking oil. Also the spark plug 4 is a little wet in oil. I will take what I can on this engine. It is not worth the work and money.

Then, what about just changing the rings, hone the cylinders and change the gaskets.
