  • Replacing the steering rack and pinion

    Hey guys, here in a few weeks im gonna be replacing the steering rack. Just wanted to know how big a job it is. I have a lift in my shop so it will be up in the air and easy get to. Also, will I need to have the car re aligned after installation? Thanks!

    I have never needed to repalce one, but looks pretty easy(only pays 3.5 book time-including reset toe). Yes, you will need to reset toe afterwards- you may get steering wheel straight, but both wheels may be toed in/out equally.
