Thanks festy46. I didn't realize that would bypass the whole ignition switch.

WmWatt, I have taken mine into the parts stores and they said there is no way for them to test them. I looked in the manual and it says the carbed model modules were not test-able. Also, a known good module would still not start the car.

      Another update:
When the car did run, I noticed while cranking the tach would go up slightly. Now it doesn't move when cranking. I know, it works off of the ground output from the dizzy, so that narrows it down to that I would say. Now, I have put a known working ignition module off of a buddys car, and still nothing. So, with no ground signal and a good ignition module, is it the pick up coil? I have done some research and I can get a new pick up coil for around $40, where as the whole dizzy costs $150. Is it a PITA to replace the pick up coil? How do you go about doing this? Also, I have been offered a whole dizzy for about the cost of the pick up coil, but it has no gaurantee / warranty. As I had mentioned before, I am currently laid off and low on funds, and I really don't want to spend more than I have to. If I can change out the pick up coil, that seems to be the cheapest option, and if I go with a new one, it will have a warranty. Any ideas?

Also, I forgot to mention, I have no voltage on the negative side of the coil. Ever! It has no ground nor + coming from it. Not with key on, off, or while cranking!
